SYDNEY GIGS — SOURCES AND ATTRIBUTION Week: 2–8 November 2026. Official-source review: 2 November 2026, Sydney time. EVENTS AND ARTISTS The source research contains 25 individual shows from 25 taste-ranked groups. This website presents only the first 15 individual shows in musical-fit order. The existing Spotify companion playlist is not capped by this website setting. No calendar-service synchronization is performed. Every expanded card includes its verified official event/ticket link and source note. Different dates and support bills remain separate. Availability is a snapshot, not a guarantee or reservation; prices marked unconfirmed are not invented. Compact prices in closed rows are summaries; full tier/fee details remain in the expanded card. Existing unused calendar-download files are preserved unchanged; the new weekly data disables their links. No calendar files or calendar-service entries are created. This review adds Our Demise, We Lost The Sea, Swivelhead, Toy Saints and the Newtown Sound local bill. Fresh ticket evidence marks Fleshwater GA allocation exhausted with an official waitlist; Voyager and Party Dozen per-order fees are disclosed. Voyager’s advertised lift outage is retained in its expanded details. Crack Cloud is excluded because the official seller marks it cancelled. Some source pages remain inaccessible; older evidence and support conflicts are labeled rather than silently refreshed. Research also checked Dead Set, City Recital Hall, Oxford Art Factory, Vic on the Park, Bootleggers, Botany View Hotel, Crowbar, the Factory, the Duke and MoshPit. Loud Bark is omitted because official November 8 metadata conflicts with October 11 body copy; unverified Duke/MoshPit candidates are not promoted. The broader playlist may include the sold-out MoshPit farewell, explicitly recorded as sold out in the source data. Iron Gate is a tattoo convention with live bands, not a standalone Hellions concert; its individual set times remain unconfirmed. Spotify artist links were matched to the exact verified companion-playlist tracks, not guessed from names. Ambiguous artists remain unlinked. Tribute shows do not link to the original artist as a substitute. The playlist is the user's existing public playlist. Spotify is a trusted, explicitly permitted external exception: an artist player loads automatically when its gig is expanded, as explicitly requested, with no automatic playback. Spotify-hosted content and trademarks are not relicensed by this project. See PRIVACY.txt and the Spotify widget terms. GEOGRAPHY The map uses actual NSW Spatial Services water/coast and road geometry, cropped and simplified for this guide. © State of NSW (Spatial Services, Department of Customer Service NSW), CC BY 4.0. See MAP-LICENSE.txt for exact sources, licence links and modifications. Burdekin Hotel, Bootleggers, Manning Bar, Hordern Pavilion and Liberty Hall use separately verified official venue-linked address points, not OSM-derived. Metro Theatre shares the verified Metro Social building point; Factory Theatre shares the verified Factory Courtyard precinct point. See venue-coordinate-sources.json for primary sources. No Google map imagery or tiles are copied. Other venue points retain their original OSM source records. Venue coordinates are approximate venue/address points, not entrance/navigation guarantees. Their separate provenance and attribution are included with geography.js and any accompanying venue-data licence. No unverified venue is substituted with a suburb centroid. Each band-and-date bubble is an individual show. Genre colours match the shared legend in both views. Readable label slots keep bubbles separate; leader lines and anchor dots identify the actual approximate venue positions. The smaller viewport can be panned horizontally. Inner Sydney and All Sydney views use distinct real geographic bounds. GENRES The coloured regions are an original editorial guide to related styles, not a formal taxonomy or measured musical axes. Each gig appears once by dominant sound; many bills cross genres. No Map of Metal code, images, design or database is copied. DESIGN AND DEPENDENCIES Original HTML/CSS/JavaScript, system fonts, local map files and the user-authorized original generated playlist cover. No frontend library, build runtime, CDN font, analytics or Spotify SDK. Professional reference research examined Bandsintown's artist/date/venue hierarchy and RA's event hierarchy, not their protected assets. DICE and Songkick references were unavailable in the research tool; RA's live browser check stopped at its device verification. None of their code/images was copied. This edition uses a compact playlist feature, a neutral interface with a warm accent, and only Featured week/Today/This weekend date controls. Selected filters use the actual Australia/Sydney date, not the featured-week date. The MIT licence applies only to original application code and layout. Geographic data, point-data licences, Spotify content/marks and other linked content retain their own rights. Offline use is no longer a user requirement. The page still avoids third-party requests at initial load; external links and the optional player require internet. PLAYLIST ART The cream/red 300px WebP is the exact existing user-generated Sydney Heavy Gigs cover, recovered from the public playlist header with the user's express reuse authorization. It is bundled locally, not requested from a third-party CDN at runtime. Source image: https://image-cdn-fa.spotifycdn.com/image/ab67706c0000d72c051063e0632af0fe0aa41905 . Its printed IN ROTATION band names are part of the pre-existing branding, not the current week's line-up. This artwork is not represented as third-party Spotify artist artwork or relicensed under the application's MIT terms.
